Our story
The Ibba family has been working in the construction sector since the 1950s. In the early 1990s Ignazio Ibba took control of the company. In 70 years, the values of quality and authenticity of the Ibba family and the propensity to enhance the beauty of natural environments have allowed the success of their business. Today, Ibba Group offers comprehensive construction, refurbishment and extension support to clients in Australia and overseas, drawing on both traditional and contemporary construction and restoration techniques. Our network of partners in architecture and industrial design seeks modern and innovative exchanges between “old and new” architectural influences to create innovative, thoughtful and memorable living environments using green materials.
Ignazio Ibba
FOUNDER
Ignazio Ibba Third-Generation Builder | CEO & Founder, IBBA Construction Pty Ltd Author of The Builder’s Mindset: Pathway to Money and Success.
Over 40 years of hands-on experience in luxury construction, rooted in three generations of Sardinian builders. I grew up on job sites, mastering the craft through dust, stone, and family tradition—learning directly from my grandfather and father.
From leading high-end projects across Europe to establishing IBBA Construction in Australia’s premium market, I’ve transformed hands-on trade into strategic entrepreneurship. Zero compromises on quality, timeless European craftsmanship applied to modern Australian excellence. The IBBA legacy is built on integrity, precision, and enduring results.
Candela Ferreyra
PROJECT DESIGNER
Candela has over eight years of international experience in design excellence, technical documentation, and project coordination. Her portfolio spans high-end residential developments, sophisticated commercial spaces, and complex infrastructure projects, where she consistently delivers solutions that unite architectural vision with construction intelligence.
Her philosophy centers on architecture as a tool to enhance human experience. She creates spaces that are aesthetically compelling, fundamentally functional, and meticulously considered from concept through execution.
She integrates refined design sensibility with rigorous technical expertise and obsessive attention to detail. Great architecture emerges from balancing creative ambition with pragmatic construction knowledge.
Client collaboration is central to her practice. She listens intently and transforms aspirations into clear, achievable solutions. She finds equal fulfillment in both the conceptual phase and the construction stage, where vision becomes reality through disciplined execution and uncompromising quality.

Bootz Plata
DESIGN COORDINATOR
Bootz Plata is an architectural professional with a strong focus on luxury residential design and high-quality construction delivery. Holding a Bachelor of Architecture, he brings a refined balance of design sensitivity, technical precision, and cost awareness to every project.
With experience across architectural drafting, 3D visualization, quantity surveying, and construction coordination, Bootz is involved throughout all stages of a project—from concept development and detailed documentation to material quantification and on-site coordination. His proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Blender allows for highly detailed drawings and visualizations that clearly communicate design intent while ensuring buildability and accuracy.
Having worked in both the Philippines and Singapore, Bootz has been exposed to high construction standards, premium materials, and detail-driven execution commonly associated with luxury developments.
His background in quantity surveying further strengthens his ability to manage costs effectively while maintaining exceptional design quality, craftsmanship, and finishes.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Maria Ella Bonsay is a dedicated Executive Assistant who brings both structure and creativity to her role. Originally from the Philippines, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting, a background that strengthens her analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
She works closely with the company’s team, handling communications, and making sure important tasks and projects stay on track.
Aside from supporting the team, Maria also handles the company’s marketing With five years of experience in community management and social media management, she creates content, manages online platforms, and helps build the company’s brand presence. She enjoys finding simple, creative ways to connect with people and showcase the company’s work.
She is known for being reliable, adaptable, and easy to work with. She balances her administrative responsibilities with her creative marketing skills, making her a valuable part of the team. Her goal is always to support the company’s growth while keeping everything organized and moving forward smoothly.
